Abstract:
This paper presents an Internet-based distributed measurement and control system-the Networked Robot Perceptual System (NRPS). The NRPS, which is integrated with the networked force/moment sensor, is capable of accessing, monitoring and analyzing the sensor data and transducer electronic data sheet (TEDS) information acquired through Internet. Java applet is used as the Web client interface. The whole system works well and will give big support to more challenging tasks such as Web Telerobotics.
