Abstract:
The modern industrial color camera is mainly used as an input equipment for image monitor, and its performence standard is the image quality percepted by human vision. It does not meet the demand of color sensor in computer vision system completely; therefore, measurement and calibration of the camera are necessary. This paper describes a method for restoring the spectral linearility of color CCD camera. Experinvent shows that the effect of light intensity to color t;oordinate can be removed or lightened. The image after transform looks just a bit darker than the original one. At last, application of this method to color measurement is presented. Results show that the accuracy of color measurement using color CCD camera is improved.
