Abstract:
A new error correction method for camera calibration is described. Firstly, a new radial lens distortion model is proposed, and a linear algorithm for calibrating the effective focal length, radial distortion coefficient and Z component of the translation vector is given.Secondly, a camera system error model is put forward, and allcoefficients are computed accurately by using system identification theory, and the test result is reported. The total error of camera will be reduced, thus the measurement accuracy is raised.
