Structural Design and Research on a Novel Multifunctional Nursing Wheelchair Robot

  • 摘要: 针对肢体功能障碍老年人在居家养老中面临的诸多挑战,提出了一种新型多功能护理轮椅机器人−M-nur,旨在满足老年人居家养老中的护理辅助需求。M-nur集成了全向移动、多姿态变换、如厕对接及洗浴辅助等功能。为解决姿态变换过程中膝关节的相对滑移问题,设计了一种主动补偿的姿态变换连杆结构,并通过最小化矢状面面积优化函数确定了关键连杆的尺寸。针对如厕模块,设计了可复位如厕板结构,最大化减少占用空间,并优化了连杆长度,同时进行了复位弹簧受力的动力学建模。进一步对姿态变换结构进行了运动学建模,并通过Adams仿真分析了膝关节相对滑移补偿效果。通过实际样机的动作捕捉实验,验证了主动补偿机制的实机效果。实验结果表明,M-nur能够有效补偿姿态变化过程中的膝关节相对滑移,并且站立过程中的补偿效果优于躺卧过程。此外,还进行了样机的便器对接使用实验,并通过编码器对如厕升降过程进行了采集分析,结果表明,M-nur能够良好适配座高在502 mm以下的便器。最后,邀请老人对M-nur与同类产品进行对比体验,结果表明,M-nur虽然功能良好,但背垫需要更换为更光滑的皮革,安全绑带应结合刚性护栏,以提高使用安全性。

     

    Abstract: For various challenges faced by elderly individuals with physical disabilities in home-based care, a novel multifunctional nursing wheelchair robot, named M-nur, is proposed to meet the care assistance needs of elderly individuals in home-based care. M-nur integrates features such as omnidirectional movement, multi-posture transformation, toilet docking, and bathing assistance. To address the relative slip of the knee joint during posture transformation, an active compensation based posture-changing linkage structure is designed, with the dimensions of key linkages determined by minimizing the sagittal plane area optimization function. For the toilet module, a resettable toilet seat structure is designed to minimize space occupancy, and the linkage length is optimized, while the dynamics of the reset spring force are modeled. Additionally, the kinematic model of the posture transformation structure is established, and the compensation effect for relative knee slip is analyzed through Adams simulation. Motion capture experiments on the prototype are conducted to validate the performance of the active compensation mechanism. The experimental results show that M-nur effectively compensates for the relative slip of the knee joint during posture transformation, with better compensation performance during the standing process than the reclining process. Furthermore, the prototype is tested for toilet docking, and the lifting process is analyzed using encoders. The results indicate that M-nur is compatible with toilets having a seat height of 502 mm or less. Finally, elderly individuals are invited to compare M-nur with similar products. The results show that although M-nur performs well functionally, the backrest needs to be replaced with smoother leather, and the safety straps need to be used in conjunction with rigid guardrails to enhance safety.
