Abstract：Although the robotic simulation and off-line programming software packages existng in the internationalmarket have prominent performance,their prices are too high.We developed ROSIDY,a graphic simulationsoftware,which has the lowest cost to meet the general industrial robots.ROSIDY is supported by merchan-dized graphic software and runs on microcomputers.Although some functions of ROSIDY can not be com-pared with that of large software packages,its graphic function and generality have practical value in industri-al robot design,research,analysis and application.This paper deals with ROSIDY ideas,programming prin-ciple,modelling and library setting of the robot parts.Finally,three industrial robots with different DOFsare presented as application examples of ROSIDY.
