ANALYSIS OF SPHERIC SCREEN DISPLAY FOR VIRTUAL REALITY

  • 摘要: 本文介绍了一种用于虚拟现实的球面显示系统.这是由一台投影电视机把图象投影在一个部分球面的投影屏幕上.遥现工作方式的两台摄像机应跟踪头部转动同样的偏转角和俯仰角.投影电视机也应跟踪头部转动,为了保持投影的图象位于头部视线的正前方,投影电视机的偏转角和俯仰角应与头部的偏转角和俯仰角保持一定的函数关系.本文将讨论这种函数关系,即位置的校正及增益的校正.在偏转角和俯仰角变化时,用户看见的图象的尺寸也会变化.这实际上是图象尺寸增益的变化.增益的校正应能补偿这种图象尺寸增益的变化.

     

    Abstract: A spheric screen display for virtual reality is presented in the paper. The position revision is discussed here, which is the map from the direction angle and the pitch angle of the head of the user to the direction angle and the pitch angle of the projector. The gain revision and the distortion revision are considered as well.
