  • Concurrent approach emphasizes the co-operation of workers and concurrently carrying out thedesign of a product and its relating procedure. Concurrent approach stresses development and sharing of in-formation and knowledge,This paper puts forward a method applying concurrent approach to robotic assem-bly process planning. The method lays stress on the sharing of information,concurrent implementation ofmultiple tasks,the communication and coordination of information among each task.Supported on expertsystem, it can complete the analysis and planning of robotic assembly process.
