BUS BRIDGE:ITS CONCEPT,METHOD AND IMPLEMENATION

It has been found that high—speed parallel communication channels established among variousbus-criterion-based personal computers,engineering workcells,and some other industrial controlers,in-tegrating them into a multi-machine system,can be used to obtain enhanced system properties with lesscost.In this paper,the concept of bus bridge—a heterobus.interconnection board which can provide paral-lel data channels for the system buses is introduced.We diseuse its structure and operation mechanism,propose a implementing scheme,and emphasis on a two-way parallel BBP(Bus Bridge Protocal) definedfor bus bridge. ’
