DESIGN OF THE INTELLIGENT ROBOT CONTROLLER FOR STEEL PLATE BENDING BY LINE COOLING AND HEATING

  • In allusion to automation of the art of steel plate bending by line cooling and heating, a special industrial robot based on SERCOS is introduced in this paper. After description of the structure and the characteristics of the robot, the paper illuminates the technical steps of the automatic processing of the intelligent robot. In detail, the paper analyses thoroughly the design of the controller, including the hardware and the software. According to the application background, the paper will discuss the processing method called “measurement guidance processing”.
