Abstract
Swarm intelligence in biology society is introduced firstly.Then such main research topics of collective robotics as collective control,swarm communication and swarm composition are discussed;the future development trends and several typical tasks for collective robots are introduced.Finally,the simulation on clustering task is given to show the application of swarm intelligence to multi-robot systems.
