Abstract
Artificial immunity is a method to solve problems inspired by the immune system of living beings,and robotics is one of its main application areas.This paper presents four main models of artificial immunity,i.e.,negative selection,clonal selection,evolutionary immunity and immune network,and summarises its biological mechanism,main algorithm and application to robotics.These algorithms are compared with other evolution algorithms,and the prospect of artificial immune system used in robotics is given.
