Robotized flexible assembly system is a important part of modern manufacturing system. Modelling for assembly process is the foundation of many research work. In this paper, the theory and method of fuzzy automata is introduced to the modelling of assembly process based on the analysis of assembly process propertics. A fuzzy automata model for robotized flexible assembly process is presented.
