GENERATION OF RELATIONAL MODEL OF ASSEMBLY BASED ON DRAWINGS UNDERSTANDING

While using a robot to intelligent assembly, it is a key problem how to make the computer understandthe mechanical drawings. This paper propose a kind of relational model of assembly(DG-ARM) based onthe analysis and understanding of mechanical drawings, and works out a relevant planning algorithm ofassembly sequence. Finally, an example is given to illustrate how to build the DG-ARM and to plan theassembly sequence.
