ROBOT SOCCER——THE NEW FIELD OF INTELLIGENT ROBOT

Robot soccer competition and soccer robot system developed in recent years have been introduced in this paper.Basically,a soccer robot system is composed of robots,a vision system,a host computer and a communication system,which refers to multi-fields,such as robots,automatic control,communication,sersor,image processing and AI,etc.A soccer game played by several robots from each team is used as a testbed of multi robots cooperation and the multi-agent system.
