DESIGN CRITERIA FOR THE OBJECT-ORIENTED ROBOT OFF-LINE PROGRAMMING SYSTEM

  • Considering the complexity of systematic structure and function of robot system, this paper discusses the advantages and disadvantages of the object-oriented approach to Robot Off-line Programming System(ROPS), and presents the object-oriented design criteria for ROPS and its component objects. The fundamental architecture is then presented, and the object-oriented ROPS of HOLPSS is implemented finally.
