Abstract
This paper introduces the research of a large size and high accuracy laser processing robot. To improve its absolute accuracy, the structure and error compensation method of large size robot is discussed. The finite element analysis is used to design optimization of robot mechanism. Based on the data of position measurement, the error model of robot is established. Finally, the validity of this method was proved by experiment, and the developed laser processing robot reached its design accuracy.
