BIOMIMETIC ROBOT RESEARCH AND ITS PERSPECTIVE

With the extension of robot research from structured environment to unstructured environment, the effect of bionics over it has become stronger. Two aspects are advanced: researches on locomotion mechanism and on behavior. The current development of these researches are discussed and its perspective is forecasted.
