A SHAPE POSITION AND ORIENTATION ALGORITHM

  • Position and orientation of shapes are often important information.They are very useful in shape recognition and robot vision application.This paper describes an algorithm to autmatically detect position and orientation of shapes by computer.Experiments prove that the algorithm is effective and has characteristics of simple program,high speed and high precision.
