Abstract
The paper illuminates the design of the first robot in China for hull steel plate bending by line heating.Firstly,it discusses the properties of the robot mechanical system,and mainly introduces the design of the manipulator. In addition, the control system,which is based on the SERCOS BUS, is introduced.
