A COMPUTER VISION SYSTEM FOR NAVIGATION OF MOBILE ROBOT

  • We have designed a compact knowledge-based vision system which can pick out pathways from images for the navigation of mobile robots.Such a scheme is effective for dealing with unexpected situations.The results of experiments are rather encouraging.What we plan to do next is to refine domain knowledge in order to improve system performance.
