Design of the Electromagnetic Vibratory Mechanism for FMAV and the Research on Its Dynamics

  • This paper designs an electromagnetic vibratory mechanism for Flapping-wing Micro Air Vehicle(FMAV),and presents its nonlinear dynamic model.Dynamic responses of the electromagnetic vibratory mechanism with different electromagnetic energizing force signals are investigated,its inherent frequency is obtained,and the conclusion that square wave and sine half-wave electromagnetic forces will generate large flapping amplitude is drawn.Finally,mechanics-magnetic coupling dynamic characteristics of the electromagnetic vibratory mechanism for FMAV are discussed.And the result shows that sine half-wave voltage is an appropriate energizing signal,and the flapping symmetry and stability can be increased if the structure is improved.
