Design of an Automatic Cooking Robot Based on DSP and CPLD

  • The realization of an automatic cooking robot is presented.The control mainframe of the robot is composed of a Digital Signal Processor(DSP) and a Complex Programmable Logic Device(CPLD).A Micro Controller Unit(MCU) is in charge of fire control and an advanced PC for industrial application is in charge of upper control.The interface between the users and the robot is a touch screen.The mechanical structure consists of a material-adding part,a stirring part,a fire control part and a pan part.Experiment shows that the automatic cooking robot is easy to use and can satisfy the cooking requirements of Chinese food.
