DEVELOPMENT OF A ROBOT CAPABLE OF MOVING ON A VERTICAL WALL

  • In this study a mobile robot which can move on the vertical walls of tall building,the side walls of large ships,etc. is developed. Vacuum pressure is available to sustain the robot on a vertical wall,and frame structure walking mechanism is used as the method of moving. A master slave computer control is applied to the control system of the robot.This paper also describles system composition, basic function, and technical parameter of the robot, and the key technology is analysed.
