Abstract The concepts of object model and deep-knowledge are presented in this paper.A modelling method forcomplex structured systems based on the concepts is also discussed by means of a frame-based knowledge representation formalism.The modelling method achieved by combinations ISA relations and PART-OF relations is useful to realize deep-knowledge-based expert system,not only for designoriented and analysis-ori-ented problems but also for control-oriented problems.
