Abstract: This paper surveys the development process of amphibious biomimetic robots,and mainly describes the current R&D status of amphibious robots at home and abroad in terms of legged and snake-like amphibious robots.Meanwhile,the difficulties to be solved under development are analyzed and the future of amphibious robots is forecasted.
